Baume & Mercier
The history of Baume & Mercier begins in 1830. Brothers Louis-Victor and Célestin Baume opened a comptoir horloger (watchmaking establishment) in Les Bois, a town in the Swiss Jura region.
The Frères Baume company quickly prospered and, true to its motto of “Accept only perfection, manufacture only watches of the highest quality”, earned an excellent reputation by creating exceptional models that incorporated the latest innovations.
Among its watch collections include Clifton, of urban character; the timeless My Classima; Hampton, rectangular in shape and the starf of all collection, Riviera.
The Maison Baume & Mercier, guided by the search for a complementary balance between design focused on form and watchmaking innovation at the service of the customer, continues to mark the history of watchmaking by perpetuating the stylistic and watchmaking know-how that is its own.
